Availability of MODTRAN

There are several products available to make MODTRAN easier to use. Most of these provide a graphical front-end which eases the creation of the control files needed by MODTRAN.

MODO
This is a commercial product which provides a user-friendly front-end to MODTRAN version 4. It requires IDL 6.0 or higher or the free IDL Virtual Machine (available from RSI Inc.).

A commercial Windows version of MODTRAN produced by ONTAR Corporation.
